SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Job Purpose:
The Territory Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and managing distributor accounts while growing volume and visibility in assigned territory under the guidelines of the Company philosophy and policies. Will also assist in creating new procedures and SOPs related to new market / product launches and promotional events in assigned territory. Responsible for following Company safety procedures, policies, and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
The ideal candidate will be based in the Los Angeles area.
Duties and responsibilities:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with our distributor and key on premise and off premise accounts.
Will be responsible for the promotion and sales of draft and packaged beer and growing distribution and volume in assigned territory.
Responsible for creating and improving the visibility of the brand in assigned territory.
Responsible for handling new distributor inquiries and processing of new and recurring orders.
Executing business plans to meet annual goals and drive accountability with distributors and key accounts.
Planning and coordinating new market / product launches and promotions to ensure achievement of sales goals.
Create and present monthly/annual reviews to owners and distributors.
Update sales database with orders from distributors.
Prepare monthly sales and marketing reports on market research, competitors, and activity for monthly presentation to management.
Update and maintain calendar of market launches and festivals in assigned territory and share with leadership team so that staff is always informed.
Adhere to and maintain annual budget with direction from the owners.
Stay abreast of current legislation and trends within the industry and communicate relevant information to the owners.
Research and participate in continuous education related to the role such as customer service, sales techniques, and the craft beer industry.
Assist in resolving customer and distributor issues and ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining the integrity of the Company.
Take an active role in monthly meetings conducted by distributor management.
Provide weekly reporting on territory activities to owners.
Represent Company by attending and/or pouring at special events such as beer dinners and beer festivals.
Minimum Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years of age
Strong interpersonal skills with a successful proven track record of developing strong relationships and meeting/exceeding sales goals
Must have a solid knowledge of beer styles and the craft brewery industry
Demonstrates approachability, composure, and strong customer service orientation
Solutions oriented, self-motivated, and results driven
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Basic computer skills with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate with staff, customers, and vendors
Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays for special work- related events such as beer dinners, tap takeovers, etc.
Must have the ability to travel up to 25% of the time
At least 1 year of beverage sales experience
Clean driving record and a valid driver’s license
Ability to perform deliveries including the ability to lift and move kegs and cases of beer up to 150 lbs
Ability to climb, kneel, and stoop to arrange and display point of sale frequently
Ability to take the initiative, work with minimal supervision, is flexible and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities
Highly detail-oriented with the ability to complete assignments both accurately and efficiently
Demonstrated ability to build rapport and good working relationships with customers, vendors and staff
Team player with the ability to effectively interact and work cross-functionally with all departments to meet business goals and objectives
A passion for craft beer and knowledge of brewing industry

Experience:
A minimum of 1 years’ experience working in an influential sales role, within the craft beer or beverage industries. Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
Pay is commensurate with experience and typically include a base salary plus commission and bonus opportunities.

CELLAR OPERATOR
Lincoln Beer Company seeks a Cellar Operator to help with all facets of the brewing process from receiving and milling grain, to carbonation and packaging of finished beer. The primary functions of this position include: cleaning fermenters, quality assurance testing, and yeast management. Secondary tasks may include wort production on the main brewhouse and on the pilot system as well as occasional work helping with packaging and warehouses.
Hourly pay is dependent upon experience. Relevant references required.
EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Ability to work flexible hours, nights and weekends if needed.
You must be at least 21 years old to work at Lincoln Beer Company.
1+ years working in a brewery, winery, or distillery strongly preferred.
High School diploma or GED equivalency
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to come to work with a positive attitude and arrive promptly every day.
Ability to simultaneously perform multiple tasks/procedures.
Ability to communicate and work effectively in a team setting and individually.
Must comprehend and adhere to safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and product recipes/material identifications.
Must be able to effectively communicate and read in English.
Must have manual dexterity sufficient to operate a wide variety of small hand tools
Enthusiasm and strong personal knowledge of the brewery industry and market is preferred.
Ability to work well with superiors and co-workers in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
Ability to change tasks quickly and still maintain attention.
Ability to regularly lift, push, or pull up to 150 pounds.
Ability to stand/move on their feet for 8 hours a day.
Mechanical aptitude and experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform tank CIP’s
Dry hop and/or add adjuncts to beer
Carbonate beer
Harvest and pitch yeast
Clean out kegs
Fill kegs
Adhere strictly to timelines and batch records when producing beer
Occasionally load and unload trucks
Take daily gravities, evaluate fermentation progress and schedule future tasks based on status of fermentations
Maintain cellar records
Unload pallets and operate forklift
Perform minor maintenance as required
Maintain overall cleanliness of entire brewery and cellar including tank exteriors and floors
Handle chemicals safely as necessary
Perform other duties as assigned
